Orkney Leather offers a wide selection of handcrafted leather products that are designed to be both functional and stylish.

Orkney Leather began as a hobby at the start of the first Covid lockdown, when things had gone very quiet, and it’s founder Jo’ Birkett decided to give her Dad some occupational therapy by getting him to teach her the skills he had learned over thirty years previously on a saddlery course in Suffolk. Some years down the line, Orkney Leather has grown and blossomed, allowing Jo’ to widen her skill base and try her hand at many new projects, thanks to the ever wonderful customers who have approached since its start-up.  Orkney Leather is now working towards becoming more widely known, not just on a local level, but further afield too.
